Youssef Ragheb participated in the 8th International Artist’s Book Biennale on the 10th of September 2018, with a four page accordion fold artist book.
The theme acted as a bridge between Ragheb’s solo exhibitions touching again on the concept of dementia and death while spiraling outwards towards politics and world affairs – a realm where superman’s reign is supreme almost to a metaphysical level.
The Biennale’s commissaire for the 8th round was Dr. Chadi Adib.
This eighth round witnessed the participation of 37 independent artists representing more than 14 different countries, including Ireland, Poland, Slovenia, Serbia, China, Canada, Hungary, the UK, Iraq, the USA, Greece and Egypt.
The 8th round of the Biennale was inaugurated by Dr. Mostafa el Feki the Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
