I taught courses in Comics and drawing at SOMA Art School and Gallery for several years . There I conducted two workshops one about the natural way to draw in ink and it tackled simple methods that would help beginners and advanced students alike to achieve line fluidity while maintaining proportions. The workshop also tackled the most effective ways of different freehand brush techniques.
The Second workshop was about visual narrative methodologies in contemporary art. Students learned how to come up with surprising narratives that could be subjectively interpreted by the viewer through brain storming, incorporating chance and the power of visual metaphors.
